The following are answers to the most common questions about our company and services. If you have any other questions, please e-mail us at and we will be happy to answer any queries you may have.
1. What happens if I wish to view properties in Spain?
When you request to view properties, we will contact you either via telephone or e-mail as you prefer to confirm your requirements. Once arrangements are confirmed, we will then send you a Welcome Pack, containing all information you need to know, including transport and accommodation arrangements and details of your destination area. We will arrange for your flights and accommodation (according to your preferences) at a location a convenient distance from our agent in Spain. Our agent will be aware of your general property preferences and any specific properties you are interested in viewing. This will mean that our agent will be able to make the most efficient use of your time during your visit and only show you properties likely to be of interest to you. Please see our How To View page for a booking form and more general information.
2. What happens if I do not want to buy any of the properties I visit?
There is no obligation to buy at any time. If we cannot find your ideal property, then we have not fulfilled the primary objective of our services.
3. Can I find a property cheaper somewhere else?
As with UK Estate Agents, if you feel the price of a property is too high, you may be able to negotiate a lower price.
4. Can you provide advice on the law and financial issues regarding purchasing a property in Spain?
Our agent has many years experience and can help you with a wide range of issues, however is not professionally qualified for certain legal and financial matters. For more complicated enquires, our agent can provide you with contacts with lawyers, banks and all other necessary expert help to make your purchase as smooth as possible. Please note that The Spanish Property Partnership does not provide mortgages.
5. There doesn't appear to be properties available in the catagory I am looking for. Do you have any other properties available?
Due to the fast moving pace of the market, it is likely that there are other properties available for you to view. Please contact us at or fill in the optional property preferences on our viewing form, where you can specify further preferences for the type of property you are looking for. This will help us satisfy your requirements more closely.
6. How long does a viewing trip generally take?
The length of time varies, however 2 or 3 days will give you time to become familiar with the area.
7. What are property 'bookmarks' and how do I use them?
The bookmark system is here to help you save any properties you are interested in for later review, allowing you to build your own personal property porfolio from the properties available on our site. In order to use this system, you must register. Registration is anonymous, and only requires you to provide a username and password. You can bookmark a property for later review either by clicking 'Bookmark This Property' on your property search page, or similarly the 'Bookmark This Property' button on the property details page.
8. How is personal information I provide on your site managed?
Please see our Privacy Policy for a comprehensive explanation of how we handle personal information on our site. Spanish Property Partnership UK Ltd does not pass your personal details on to third parties for marketing purposes.
9. What are the terms and conditions of service?
Please see our terms and conditions page for more information.
10. Can you send me a paper brochure?
Properties are bought and sold quite quickly, and we find that paper brochures become out of date. We prefer therefore only to base our properties portfolio online, keeping track of properties available as close to the market as possible. You may, however, print out a 'printer friendly' copy of property profiles by clicking on the 'Printer Friendly' link on the property details page.
